The EGU conference provided an opportunity to present my findings on the assessment of the DSM and soil loss modelling. The presentation enabled me to exchange ideas with researchers and experts, and to receive constructive feedback. It also offered the chance to network with professionals from diverse disciplines and reconnect with former colleagues. Participating in the conference also strengthened my research thinking and communication skills, boosted my confidence in presenting, and increased my overall scientific visibility. I also attended several high-quality sessions, poster presentations and exhibitions, which covered topics such as remote sensing for forest applications, nature-based solutions, uncertainty analysis and communication, soil erosion modelling and policy frameworks.
