The annual GSGS Research Conference took place at the 12 May 2023. Everyone had the opportunity to present their latest research results in form of a poster. To reward the best posters and their presentation, PhD students can win poster prizes. 

The prize for the best poster of 2023 goes to: 

Anissa Vogel - “Identifying Land Use Related Potential Disaster Risk Drivers in the Ayeyarwady Delta, Myanmar”

This year`s Audience Prize goes to two persons who were tied after the public voting:

Markus Rolf - “How did all the microplastics end up here? A case study from the Rhine floodplains in Cologne”

Sabrina Niemeyer - “Derivation of erosion rates of the Vogelsbergbasalt area (Germany) using cosmogenic Kr isotopes"
