Pursuing a doctorate in Geosciences at Cologne and admission to the GSGS
If you would like to be a doctoral candidate member of the GSGS, your first step is to find an advisor (professor or other person entitled to supervise doctoral candidates in the Faculty) and apply for admission as a doctoral student to the doctoral office of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Cologne (UoC).
Both your advisor and the GSGS coordinator have to sign the relevant application form. This form serves as your registration with the GSGS.
