Platform for

Peer-to-peer training

What is peer-to-peer training?

Peer-to-peer training is sharing knowledge and skills between peers. One person knows how to use a certain method, tool or computer programme, or has other knowledge that is worth sharing.

Who is it for?

This platform is for doctoral candidates who are GSGS members. It is currently in a test phase. Any feedback is welcome!

What should the training be like?

The format of peer-to-peer training is in principle open. For example, two peers could offer some training jointly.

In principle, offers should be made in English; if no non-German speakers sign up, training can be offered in German.

The GSGS will

  • offer support in the preparation and execution phase wherever possible,
  • ask the proposing trainer to provide an overview of the learning outcomes they aim for, and
  • monitor the training itself.
